On the 2nd of July 2011, which was a Saturday, the Interact Club of La Salle Klang carried out our first project for this term. In conjunction with the 1 Murid, 1 Sukan and the Jogathon event, we put up stalls for mini games and sold drinks such as 100 plus and Sunkist orange juice to the students. For this project, Interactors were able to get 14 cartons of sponsored drinks. 2 games were played which include darts game and ring toss that were priced at RM 1 per trial. The response of the students was overwhelming for many who came and participated. Prizes were given out to winners of the games. The Interactors also helped to clean the school assembly point along with the Leo Club of La Salle Klang after the event. We garnered a total of RM485 which include both drink sales and games profit. This profit earned was all contributed to school. Overall, this project was a success. The interactors' spirit is commendable.

We attended and supported the leadership training seminar, joint-installation and the prize-giving ceremony which was held on the 26^th of June 2011 at Klang Executive Club (KEC).

The board of directors of Interact Club that attended this leadership seminar are from SMK Raja Zarina, SMK Batu Unjur, SMK Methodist ACS, SMK Methodist Girls School, SMK High School, SMK La Salle Klang, SMK Convent, SMK Klang Utama and SMK Sultan Abdul Samad .

We had a fun time there along with the other interactors from other school. There were a series of wonderful performances by the interactors followed by a prize giving ceremony and the joint-installation for the interactors.

Their passion was like an unbeatable flame.

There we go, we, the interactors of La Salle Klang participated in a visit to the Sekolah Khas.

i) Recycling Project.

A group of interactors from LSK had worked together and made an attempt to collect the recycleable items in and out the school. This was a community service project. We kick-started from our school at around 8.30 a.m. and ended it at the Beautiful Gate Home in Lebuh Turi. We collected those recycleable items and separated them to their respective categories as well. We collected items such as newspapers, tins, water bottles, plastics and so on. They were indeed delighted with our hardwork and commitment. This project was an instant success.

ii) Board of Director's Meeting.

The Interact Club of SMK La Salle, Klang had conducted a B.O.D's meeting on the month of September. The meeting was held in class 5U. Our teacher advisors, Pn.Jasvir Kaur and Pn.Tilagawathy were present on that day. We were unable to contact the Rotarians due to the eleventh hour plan on having the meeting. The meeting started at 12.30 p.m. All the board of directors were present on that day. All the board of directors presented their own reports for the entire month. They also suggested projects and activities to be carried out for the following months. This meeting was well-handled and it went on smoothly.

ICC Merdeka Walkkk.

On the 31st of August 2010, The Interact Coordinating Council of Klang had organized a merdeka walk in conjunction with the Independence Day. There are around 150 interactors from Klang who participated in this auspicious event. Breakfast were served early in the morning specially for us. We walked around Klang Town and distributed Malaysia flags to most the passer-bys. We were cheering our respective school's Interact cheers while walking around. After the walk,we assembled back at the field in Royal Klang Club. Lips smacking food were provided there. There were a few performances by the interactors from each school and two representatives from each school were chosen to give a talk regarding their respective posters with the theme of Independence Day. There were parents and outsiders who participated in this event as well.
In conclusion, this event was a great success.

Merdekaa!

We, the interactors of LSK helped to decorate the school compound in conjunction with the Independence Day. National flags and banners were hung all around the school. This year's Merdeka celebration was an instant success. Credit to all the interactors who helped out throughout the event. Bravo Interactors!

Farewell Party.

The real value of a particular person will only be realized in their absence. This sentence trully ran thru' our minds when we had a farewell party for our beloved seniors. Around 10 of the interactors together with our seniors had a farewell party in the Nyonya Kitchen, Bayu Perdana. A variety of food were served on that night. Although we were upset upon their retirement, but we still managed to have a whale of time with our seniors and nevertheless, with our two beloved teachers, Pn. Jasvir & Pn. Thilagawathy. :)
